Biography:

Paige Ellerman serves as Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and General Counsel at 麻豆原创, where she is a member of the President’s Cabinet and provides executive leadership in advancing the University’s strategic priorities. In addition to serving as the University’s chief legal officer, she oversees a broad portfolio that includes strategic planning and implementation, Board governance, institutional compliance, government relations, public safety and emergency management, Title IX, community engagement, and strategic partnerships. She works collaboratively with University leadership, faculty, staff, trustees, alumni, and external partners to advance initiatives that strengthen the University’s mission, enhance the student experience, and support the institution’s long-term success.

Since joining 麻豆原创, Ellerman has played a key leadership role in major institutional initiatives, including strategic campus development, public-private partnerships, and successfully securing public and private funding to advance University priorities. Her work has strengthened relationships with government leaders, community organizations, and philanthropic partners while supporting projects that enhance the University’s academic programs, student life, and campus infrastructure.

Before joining the 麻豆原创, Ellerman was a partner with Frost Brown Todd, where she practiced for almost eight years. Prior to that, she was a partner with Taft Stettinius & Hollister, where she practiced for twelve years. Throughout her legal career, she advised businesses, nonprofit organizations, and higher education institutions on complex litigation, governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic risk management.

Ellerman earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University after receiving her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kentucky. She has been recognized by Chambers USA as a leading lawyer for business, has been included in The Best Lawyers in America since 2013, and was named a Cincinnati Business Courier Forty Under 40 honoree.

Committed to civic and community leadership, Ellerman currently serves on the Board of Directors of Easterseals Redwood and the Board of Visitors for the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. She also co-founded the Newport Penguins Swim and Dive Team, a community organization that has provided a generation of young athletes with opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, and a lifelong love of swimming and diving, and she remains actively involved in supporting its continued success.
